From February 19 to 23, 2025, the Hispanic Outreach Department of Derek Prince Ministries USA took a significant step forward in Bogotá, Colombia. DPM-USA President, Philip Wyns, and Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, Cesar Silva, were invited by G12 Vision Church to teach on crucial leadership topics: Freedom from Rejection, Being Called to Triumph, and Protection from Deception.
The response to the teaching and the time of ministry was overwhelming. Over 26,000 people attended the sessions.
People used their mobile phones to call their loved ones who were sick and as Philip was praying for them, they were getting healed and set free.
Reconnecting with G12
The groundwork for this meeting was laid in October 2024, when G12 leadership rediscovered our training programs for pastors and leaders in Cartagena, Colombia. This discovery prompted them to reach out for more information.
Recognizing this as a divine opportunity, our team visited them in November 2024, meeting with Pastor Sara Castellanos and the church leadership. During this visit, we witnessed great enthusiasm for Derek Prince’s teachings and the newly translated Spanish book, Protection from Deception. This had to be one of the key topics of their upcoming leadership conference!
Healings and Deliverances
Philip shared about the strong anointing of God during the meetings.
“It was like one of Derek’s meetings you can find on YouTube. Seas of people were coming to the altar in repentance; receiving all kinds of blessings from the Lord. I was preaching against witchcraft and all of a sudden several people started to manifest. There were healings and deliverances. Uneven legs were lengthened. There was such a strong anointing, that I could even point at somebody across the stadium with thousands and thousands of people, and they would start to receive healing or deliverance. There was a man who had a brain tumor. While I was praying for him, he's said: ‘I felt it leave my head.’ But then he said, ‘Wait a second. How am I speaking English right now? I'm not bilingual.’ Not only had he been healed, but he had also received the English language."

What is The G12 Movement?
The G12 Vision, founded in Bogotá, Colombia, by Pastor César Castellanos, is a discipleship model based on the principle of mentoring twelve leaders who, in turn, disciple others. This multiplication strategy has led to the rapid growth of churches worldwide. Today, G12 has a presence in over 70 countries, influencing churches across Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia.
The relationship between Derek Prince and G12 dates back to 1997 when he was the keynote speaker at the first international G12 Vision conference. Pastor César Castellanos deeply connected with Derek’s teachings and integrated them into his discipleship programs. For over two decades, these teachings have been instrumental in shaping the leadership structure of the G12 movement.
Pastor Sara Castellanos and her husband Lou Guerra, the current senior pastors of the 25,000-member church, are eager to integrate Derek Prince’s teachings into their third-year leadership curriculum. This renewed connection has the potential to impact not only their vast network of over 8,000 churches worldwide but also the broader Hispanic world.
