Our journey took us to Chhuk District in Kampot province—a region known for its serene beauty and humble way of life. While Kampot is often recognized for its seaside charm and tourism in some parts of the city, most of its people live simple lives as farmers and fishermen. In Chhuk district, a rural area tucked away from the busy coastline, families work hard in the fields and take on laborer’s jobs to support their loved ones.

Amidst the quiet hills and rice paddies of Chhuk district, something remarkable is happening. Over 86 churches—both in buildings and humble homes—have been established, becoming centres of hope and faith in the community. God’s presence is deeply felt here: in every shared meal with a neighbor, every prayer in a small gathering, and every act of love extended to the forgotten and overlooked.
Our focus was on equipping and encouraging local pastors who serve faithfully among the largest indigenous group in the region. We reminded them of the power of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross—a truth that brings hope, strength, and victory even in the darkest of times. This message helped them find the courage to persevere and overcome the challenges they faced in their ministry.
Recognizing their unique struggles and limited access to spiritual resources, we carefully selected five core DPM books to bless and strengthen their journey. These included Will You Intercede?, Authority and Power of God’s Word, The Power of the Sacrifice, and Hear God’s Voice. Each book was chosen with the hope of igniting a deeper hunger for God’s presence and providing practical tools for teaching, leadership, and spiritual growth.

45 pastors from various villages in Chhuk attended the seminar, eager for spiritual growth, encouragement, and fellowship. They arrived with smiles, warmly greeting one another.
Transformed Lives Through the Sacrifice of Jesus
The group gathered outdoors for a time of discussion. The topic, The Power of Sacrifice, stirred something deep in each heart. One by one, people began to share their testimonies—stories of brokenness, redemption, and hope. Tears welled in some eyes, while others spoke with voices full of gratitude. Each testimony revealed how God had reached into their lives and brought healing, forgiveness, and new purpose through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. The atmosphere was full of awe and thankfulness, as everyone was reminded that His love is not just a story from long ago—it’s alive and still redeeming hearts today.
"They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." (Revelation 12:11)
This experience powerfully underscored the urgent need to reach underserved communities, offering them encouragement and the spiritual resources necessary to grow in faith. It reminded us that in Christ Jesus, we are more than conquerors, called to rise as champions of hope. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside these dedicated pastors and witness firsthand the transformative power of intercession. Through prayer and unity, we saw how God can shift circumstances and bring light into even the darkest places.
Testimony of Pastor Sen Et
I was once a soldier during the civil war in Cambodia, surrounded by violence, fear, and death. My family came from a long line of black magic practitioners—darkness was all I ever knew. Power, fear, and spiritual bondage were passed down like a legacy. But deep inside, I felt empty, searching for something real, something pure.
In the middle of war and confusion, I heard about Jesus—His love, sacrifice, and power to redeem. Something stirred in me, a desire I couldn't ignore. When I decided to accept Christ, my world turned upside down. My family rejected me, accusing me of betraying our tradition. The villagers mocked me and banned me from joining any religious gatherings. I was isolated and ridiculed. But Jesus never left me.
The power of His blood broke every chain of darkness in my life. The stronghold of black magic lost its grip, and for the first time, I felt truly free. Slowly, God began to change me from the inside out. I never imagined being a pastor—I thought I wasn’t good enough, especially with my low education and broken past. But God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called.
Today, by His grace, I am a pastor—something I never planned, yet something God prepared for me all along. Through my weakness, He shows His strength. I now share the Gospel with others who are still walking in darkness, just like I once was.
All glory to Jesus, whose sacrifice didn’t just save me—it gave me a new identity, a new purpose, and a story of hope that only He could write.
