Equipping Believers

Dear Friend,

With this update, we invite you to continue standing with the Derek Prince Ministries-China team as we seek to serve our brothers and sisters inside and outside of China. This letter will bring you a status report regarding the work of the DPM-China outreach.

An Encouraging Testimony

One of our team members recently spoke at a meeting where all the attendees were believers from mainland China. A Chinese brother led a powerful time of worship and then, at the conclusion of the meeting, this same brother shared his encouraging testimony.

At a point when he had been challenged to get serious with God, he searched the internet and found Derek’s teaching. That teaching played a pivotal role in his becoming a worshiper of the living God. This Chinese brother’s story is just one of many in that region for which we greatly rejoice.

New Challenges

In China today, we face new challenges and new opportunities. The brother whose testimony appears above is now living outside of China, having felt the need to leave because of pressure and persecution. In that same meeting where he shared, out of the forty attendees, there were five mainland Chinese pastors who have all left their homeland because of the pressures there.

Since October 2025, the situation for believers in mainland China has become more and more restrictive. Newly issued religious regulations have sharply limited any form of Christian activity on the internet, including teaching, preaching, group communication, and content sharing.

Today in China, pressure on in-person gatherings of believers has intensified, leading to arrests, detentions, and increased surveillance of house church leaders and fellowships. This past October, thirty leaders were simultaneously arrested across six cities in China.

An Exciting New Door Has Opened

As a consequence of the increased restrictions, many believers are leaving China, including students, workers, new immigrants, and entire families. This significant displacement of people presents a wonderful new open door for the DPM-China team. Now we are free in a new way to reach these Chinese believers outside of mainland China. Because they are scattered across many countries today, we can now reach them in ways we couldn’t before.

Many of these believers carry spiritual wounds from restriction and separation. They face loss of familiar church communities—yet find it difficult to integrate into local churches overseas due to language and cultural barriers. In the hearts of these dear brothers and sisters there are lingering fears of being seen, recorded, and then reported to Chinese authorities.

We are grateful that our DPM-China online ministry can serve these believers by offering a diverse range of videos in Mandarin, providing consistent, even daily spiritual support. The care we are providing for them is life-changing and encouraging.

Our Digital Reach

From April 2023 to the present, our Chinese YouTube channel has received more than 5.4 million views. Many overseas believers who are originally from mainland China have come to regard this channel as their spiritual home and a vital source of daily encouragement.

In the “video storehouse” for mainland Chinese believers, there are already 2,476 teaching videos that have been prepared. We are thankful for the privilege of making resources available to feed these believers from the Word of God through Derek Prince’s teaching.

The most exciting aspect of this vital work is that we can reach so many of these believers directly without any restrictions. Material such as Derek’s legacy radio programs, teaching letters, and English audio sermons represent valuable resources to reach new audiences in a renewed and accessible form.

We Won't Forget Those Left Behind

But what about the people who are forced to remain in China? If pastors are leaving China because of intense pressure, what happens to the flocks they once shepherded? Who will teach them the truths of Scripture or enable them to walk with the Lord Jesus in their difficult situation?

Faith remains strong, but nourishment is thin. Without consistent discipleship, encouragement, and pastoral care, many of these Chinese believers—alone, underfed, and isolated—are struggling to persevere.

Our DPM-China team is doing all we can to serve these micro-fellowships (5-10 believers) and feed them with online materials and simple study outlines. We provide encrypted platforms for watching online sermon video/audio/books/teaching articles as well as downloadable channels with multiple materials.

For the leaders who remain, we provide an exciting innovation—secure online meeting rooms for house church fellowships. Our greatest hope is that no believer in China will feel deserted or alone.

The Need For Resources

The work of the DPM-China team is making a huge difference—but there is a cost. The anointed translation and media team who produce all these materials costs us $207 a day, $6417 dollars a month.

In addition to the exciting innovations we have described, DPM-China continues to print and distribute Derek’s books inside China. In 2025, we produced over 200,000 books in Mandarin—materials which are filled with Derek’s solid teaching. Books such as Applying the Blood and The Coming Revival have become some of the most popular titles. Thousands of proclamation cards and audio devices with Derek’s teaching have also been distributed.

You Help Is Vital

Our China team members are a group of precious believers. They have surrendered themselves willingly to serve their brothers and sisters inside and outside of China.

We ask you to stand with them in prayer and financial support. Thank you in advance for your wonderful help.

With gratitude in Christ,
